Good bye ‘06, HELLO 2007! What are you doing tonight? What are your resolutions for the New Year?

We are staying home tonight and making homemade pizza. I’ve opened a very expensive bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon and we are going to make ice cream sundaes and play board games. I’m not sure if any of us will make it until midnight, but I think we’ll try!

It is ages since I’ve been to a museum and I love London’s Natural History Museum. It’s not that I’ve got anything against paintings and pottery and clothes from long ago; it’s just that dinosaur bones blow me away!

So, tell us, which is your favourite museum and why?

I love the saying

To me it says what is so important about education …. something as a teacher I obviously believe very strongly in. Of course I also have a strange sense of humour and love this version …

My brother-in-law spent Christmas alone this year. He was in Denver, Colorado during the blizzard and the airport was shut down, his flight was cancelled, and there was no hope of rescheduling. No major problem for him though ….. there was fresh powder so he spent his days skiing and snowboarding in the mountains. If you had to spend Christmas alone, what would you do?

I’d relax on the sofa with a few movies, maybe a book, and wear my pj’s all day long.

I’d like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas!!!! What did Santa bring you?

I received a set of Reidel stemless wine glasses, a wine decanter, and a bottle of 2000 Moletto Selecti Italian Cabernet Sauvignon.

It’s almost that time when Oscar nominations get handed out and you get to be the judge. What film gets the Best Picture for 2006?

My daughter is spending the day in her bedroom today because she’s been grounded. When was the last time you were grounded?

Off to France tomorrow morning (I know I’m going on about it but I’m a little excited!). We’re driving and catching a ferry. I’d prefer to fly but we’d missed the get your cheap flights now window of opportunity.

My husband’s car experienced a flat tire this morning in rush hour traffic, on the Interstate of course. When he got the spare tire the battery pooped out. ARGH!!! He now has one full year of AAA service …. When was the last time your car broke down?

It’s a gymnastics meet today, what will you be participating in: floor routine, bars, rings, vault, balance beam? What do you think the judges will give you for a score?

In one way or another, everyone is a minority. In what way are you a minority?

For instance, I am a white suburban male (all majority statuses) but I was the big V all the way until my marriage night (has to be a minority status).
