Do you think that the concept of customer service is a thing of the past? Do you think that businesses still put an importance on making the customer happy? When was the last time you received good customer service?

Have you heard of The Grand Canyon Skywalk that will be opening on March 28th, 2007? It’s 4000 ft. above the floor of the canyon (the tallest building in the world is Taipei 101, in Taiwan, at 1670 ft.). The skywalk will extend 70 feet beyond the edge of the cliff, and will have a glass bottom. You have to see the photos on the website to appreciate it. My question is this, do you have any desire to stand out on the skywalk?

Let’s say that you find yourself in your pj’s, fresh out of bed. You desperately need a cup of coffee but realize that you are out of coffee filters. What would you do?

At lunch the other day I found myself in the men’s bathroom by complete accident. I walked in without paying attention to what door I was going through. Zoe, my almost 6 year old daughter, was right behind me, but didn’t dare step through the wrong door. “Mom! Your in the men’s bathroom!” She then pulled a bullhorn out of coat pocket (like a cartoon character would) and made the following announcement from the corner of the restaurant to my husband who was about 15 feet away: “Dad! Mom was in the mens bathroom! Dad! Mom was in the mens bathroom!” 

Have you ever gone into the wrong bathroom?

Would you rather live for 30 days with The Munsters, The Addams Family, or The Brady Bunch?

One day after the Oscars, most of us will be able to name the big winners, best picture, best actor, best actress.  Alot of last years best winners have been mentioned in the past  few weeks as well.  But what about the big winners from two years ago.  Without goggling, do you remember any of the big winners from 2005?

The front page of our local newspaper has a picture of Martin Scorsese with his Oscar and a quick recap of the events of last night, directing you to the Entertainment section for more coverage.     What’s  on the front page of your local paper this morning?  Do you think the Oscar coverage deserves to be on the front page of a newspaper?

Why do you deserve to be happy?

Sunday is the Academy Awards. I watch them every year, and actually make it a personal mission to see most (all if I can) of the movies that have been nominated. My weekend will be dedicated to see the last few movies on the list, and come Oscar time I’ll cheer for my favorites. Do you watch the Oscars? Have you watched any of the nominated movies? Care to make any predictions?

**UPDATE** And the answer is Whoopi Goldberg … well done Sue, who as a prize gets to watch a star-studded award show this very evening! Oh *winks at Sue* did I mention it was on the TV?

The Thursday Thirteen  has been retired, and I completely understand and support Leanne’s  decision to do so. The TT was something that an entire blogging community did every Thursday; some never missed it, others participated when they remembered, or when they had a good idea for 13 things. It was a completely innovative idea that brought many people together. Thank you Leanne!

So my question is this: What will the blogging world do with themselves on Thursdays? Does anyone have an idea that is unique? Did you ever participate in the Thursday Thirteen?

Do you ever feel like you could get more done if you had some help? I know that I do. I’d love someone to put all my stuff away, and run to the store to get the forgotten items, do the laundry, the housework, my homework …. let’s see my helper could put gas in my car, mow the lawn, load the dishwasher, etc….. It would be a dream come true! If you could pick any animated/cartoon character to be your personal assistant, who would you pick and why?

Ah the delightful Hugh Jackman … lovely to look at, he can sing & dance, makes me smile!
