What have you recently accomplished that you’d like to share with us?

This is the How Many ??? game, and this is how we play:

So, tell us, how do you like your peanut butter?

How do you explain to non-bloggers what blogging is and how enjoyable it is for you?

My husband and I are going shopping tomorrow … to France.  It’s not far, 1/2 an hour in the car, 1/2 on the train ~ eh voila!  How lucky are we?  I love to shop there … cheaper wine, more choice of cheese, fabulous bread and seafood to die for.  Delicious!

So, tell us, where do you love to shop?  And why?

My husband enjoys washing his face with my facial cleanser, he especially likes this one brand I buy that has microbeads in it. Have you ever bought, and used, a personal product that is geared more for the opposite sex?

Here’s a deck of cards …… what will you do with them?

A new planet has been discovered, and guess what, you’ve been put in charge of naming it! What will you name this new planet? And since we are talking about planets, I’m a little miffed that Pluto isn’t a planet anymore. What are you thoughts on Pluto?

You’ve been given 3 parachutes, but there are 4 people who need them. Who will you not give one to: Rosie O’Donnell, Don Imus, Donald Trump, or Alec Baldwin?

(Of course, all 4 of them are up really super duper high in the air, and the parachute is truly the only way to save them. You are safe on the ground, so there is no need to give yourself a parachute.)

Last summer the local water company in the south east of England imposed a hosepipe ban that lasted right up until December.  You couldn’t water lawns, fill pools or water plants unless you used rainwater you had collected yourself.  Right now the ban is not in place BUT we haven’t had rain for about three weeks … and I’m waiting for an announcement anyday!

So, tell us, when was the last time it rained where you are?

p.s. Bonus Question ~ And is it called a hosepipe where you are?

A recent article written by Dan Egan in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel suggests banning oceangoing vessels in the St. Lawrence Seaway:

The idea of banning oceangoing vessels from the Great Lakes to halt the onslaught of invasive species would have been universally dismissed as nonsense just a few years ago.

Not anymore.

Frustrated with ocean freighters dumping invasive species that are ravaging native fisheries, despoiling prized beaches and costing water-dependent industries billions of dollars, the conservation group Great Lakes United proposed an overseas-freighter ban in late March, the day before the St. Lawrence Seaway was rousted from its winter slumber for its 49th season.
