I adore Burt’s Bees lip balm (uber inexpensive) and Kiehl’s Ultimate Strength Hand Salve (a bit on the pricey side). I know that I could not live without either of them. What beauty product could you simply not live without?

I just finished reading A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini, which I read solely based on the face that it was on the NY Times Bestsellers List.

I LOVED IT! (Tendrils, do you copy?)

It was simply one of the best books I’ve ever read. What a story! I haven’t loved a book this much since I finished The Time Traveler’s Wife. I am about to load the audio of The Kite Runner (also by Housseini) into my iPod, and I hope that it’s just as breath taking of a story as Splendid Suns. What book have you started with low expectations, and finished with tears in your eyes it was so good?

I have a friend who puts up, and decorates, four (FOUR!) Christmas trees. I think that’s way too many. Zero to one is enough for me. So my question is this: How many Christmas trees is too many Christmas trees for one home? Do you put up more than one tree? And which is better, real trees or fake?
