We had NO INTERNET yesterday morning.
Let me say that it again so that it sinks in with you my fellow junkies - NO INTERNET!

I couldn’t post my question/check my emails/play Scrabulous … it was awful.

What would you have done?

This is the How Many ??? game, and this is how we play:

The person before you has asked How Many??? You’ll answer their question in the comments as well as ask the next person a How Many ??? question. The next person answers their question, and asks another, etc…..

Easy enough, right?

How many credit cards are in your wallet?

What was the last thing you bought that came with an Owner’s Manual? Tell the truth now, did you read it?

You may have noticed a new BlogHer ad campaign in the right hand column for Weight Watchers. It just started last week, and on Friday I couldn’t take it* anymore so I joined. Again. (*It being the 5-10-okay-maybe-20 lbs that I just can’t lose!) I tried Weight Watchers once before, and honestly it was really really bad timing. I was in the process of moving (twice), I had just started graduate school, and we were living at my parents house until our house was ready to move into (this meant LOTS OF SNACKS). I failed, my husband did well, my mom joined too and is now on Lifetime status (which means she met her goal weight and maintained it). My husband is still on Weight Watchers, but he’s been floundering since October. He actually made his goal, but then lost it when he was injured and couldn’t run 20+ miles a week to load up on Activity Points. So, I’m down about 3 lbs. so far, and the points are going well. I’m eating a lot of salads, and thankfully we’ve got about four WW cookbooks so it’s really not been so bad. Except for when I was trapped in the mall during the Movie Marathon and had to rely on Panera and the food court for food. That didn’t go so good. Rocky Rococo pizza has a zillion points in it! (now you know)

So, I joined Weight Watchers, what about you?

Note about the cost and the meetings. I couldn’t afford the $39/month (especially for two people!) and felt stressed to make it to a meeting. The current promotion that I joined is WW Online and it was $65 for 3 months, and either $16.95 or $14.95 per month after that. As far as I can tell, my support system is online rather than in the form of a weekly meeting.

Have you ever crawled out your bedroom window? (in the middle of the night?)

If someone was ignorning you, say a co-worker, how long would you go before asking what this person’s problem was?

How often do you frequent the library? Do spend a great deal of time there, or do you not even know where it’s located?

What are three movies you could watch over and over and over (and over) again?

Where are you in the housing market? Buying? Selling? Refinancing? Staying put? Would you ever buy a new house without selling your house first?

What ice cream flavor could you do without?

What was the last test you took? Did you pass it?

I love photos! Do you participate in Wordless Wednesday?

Everyone has issues …. what’s yours?

If you had to describe your disposition in meterological terms, what woud a typical forecast be? (Example: Partly cloudy with a chance for sun later in the day)

Do you usually run 5 minutes early, or 5 minutes late?

Here’s an update …. My 12 Hour Movie Marathon actually lasted for 10 hours due to the fact that I had already watched the first movie, Michael Clayton. I saw a total of FOUR movies in a row. I fell asleep ZERO times. And, I filled my popcorn only ONCE — actually I only ate a few handfuls of it. What did I eat? About a half a bag of Plain M&M’s and I sucked on ton of Alterra’s Strong Mints peppermint candies, drank a lot of water, and at 9 p.m. I had a Starbuck’s coffee to keep me going for the last movie.

I gave my Oscar Predictions here if you are interested, I didn’t do so bad.

And the award goes to you! You’ve won this year’s Blogscar!

Here ya go, take your award. Oh and don’t forget the envelope…..

Cue to you to begin your acceptance speech….

Who would you like to thank?

Have you ever been chased by cops?
