Reading Jane Austen
Last year I asked if you haveĀ ever read a book by Jane Austen? And I’m going to ask again, due to the fact that I’m in the process of reading (by audiobook) Pride & Prejudice, my very first Jane Austen book. So, have you?

I have read all 7 of Jane Austen’s novels. I don’t like Northanger Abbey and have only read it once. Emma is certainly not a favorite, either, but I’ve read it several times. The rest I read regularly. My husband thinks I never read any other books.
English major here, too.
Not only have I read them all, multiple times, I actually took a course in college just on Jane Austen’s books.
Interestingly, the books I thought I liked less in high school and college (Persuasion, Emma, Northanger Abby) have become much more appealing as I’ve matured.

I am about half way through P&P, and I am enjoying it very much. Is it cheating that I had to find a character list/map as to keep who everyone is straight? And I read the Cliff Notes too.
