What is your favorite flower?
I love almost all of them – mostly garden-type and wild flowers. My mother loved dandelions – she said they were always the first color in spring and were such happy flowers.
Roses were always my favorite. Any color, any variety. I look forward to the brief blossing of the brambles — wild roses — that grow in my yard. (The flowers aren’t impressive, but the scent is delightful.)
Yellow roses. Red ones, if they have a rose smell, but most florist roses have no scent at all any more.
Tulips. I love all tulips, but especially love bunches and bunches of parrot tulips together. Someday, I’m gong to spend my birthday in a Dutch tulip field.
