If you had to could you drive a taxi for a living in your city?
I am a terrible driver, but other than that, sure.
I’d have to learn a few more areas, but probably I could. I wouldn’t want to have to deal with the crazy customers, though.
People who temp learn a lot about the geography of a city, and I temped both before and after my “real” jobs. I can’t go on the highways, of course, but I can get where I have to.
In THIS city, sure. Not only is it small enough to know every block already, but I learned that to take a cab from the bookstore where I work to my house, a distance of about 1 mile, would cost $30. I would be rich!
Sure, it’s a small enough town. I could probably drive a taxi in a larger city, too, now that there are Garmin’s, Tom Tom’s, etc.
