1. When I was working and the girls were little, I pretty much knew what I was going to have – although never a written menu. Now I’m lucky if I know what I’m going to have by 4 pm. LOL

  2. Like Mary, not any more. When I was a working mom…

I usually cooked something on Sunday that would make one meal plus leftovers during the week. I did my grocery shopping on Sunday mornings, planning what I would serve. No written menus, everything was flexible. And I hardly ever threw out anything because it had been ignored by all eaters.

  3. hahahahaha….. No. I gave up a long time ago because of hubby’s line of work and could never count on him being home at a set time. Too many ruined meals because of that. It’s always been just the two of us, no children, so not such a big deal. In all honesty, I could make him a bowl of oatmeal for dinner and he would be happy. The only time I make a meal plan now is if we will be having house guests, and not too many are beating down our door to visit us in Indiana. That will start up again after we return to Arizona.

  4. I’m not nearly organized enough. I open the fridge around 7 p.m. and pull out something to cook, without an idea in my head of what I’m going to do with it. Usually turns out OK
