    Sitcom. Childhood. Hmm.

I’d have to choose a couple that came to television from the radio: “Our Miss Brooks” and “Ozzie and Harriet”

I don’t know if it counts as a sitcom, but I loved The Red Skelton Show when I was a kid. As for traditional sitcoms, I don’t recall having a favorite, but we watched “Andy Griffith,” “Petticoat Junction,” “I Dream of Jeannie,” Gomer Pyle, USMC,” “Flying Nun,” “Gidget,” “Father Knows Best,” “Make Room for Daddy,” “Gilligan’s Island,” “Dobie Gillis,” etc., etc.

No TV when I was a child. I remember liking a Saturday morning radio program called “Let’s Pretend”.
