Weekend Q&A

This is the Weekend Q&A game and this is how you play:

The person before you has asked asked you a question. You’ll answer their question in the comments as well as ask the next person a question. The next person answers their question, and asks another, etc….. You are encouraged to participate often!

I’ll start:

How tall are you?

  1. Yes. We’re leaving next week and going to Santa Barbara (400 miles away) to celebrate with our granddaughters. We will be back here on the 28th and will have a late Christmas with my mother and my son, who is recovering from surgery and can’t make the long trip to Santa Barbara.

Do you have an “ugy Christmas sweater”? do you wear it? (I love them)

  2. I just bought one at the thrift store yesterday for $1.50 and I have a really nice one as well. I get really annoyed with all the Cristmas craziness but I am better this year so. yes…I do plan to wear my Christmas sweaters but more as a form of protest and only when I drive my Jeep with the Grinch riding in the front bumper.

What is wirh people wearing fleece pajama bottoms out in public? Is that a new acceptable article of clothing or do you rhink that they just couldn’t quite get those jeans on in the morning???

  3. I think things have gotten so complicated elsewhere in people’s’ lives, dressing up in public has gone by the wayside.

The Christmas Story is my favorite movie to watch this time of year. Which is yours?

  4. Personally, I don’t host holiday parties. However, the Gentleman (my son-in-law) loves to entertain and had held a holiday party for his friends every year for the past fifteen years. He runs a slide show of pictures from former parties — different people, different homes, etc. We had 35 people here on Friday night.

Have you ever celebrated what we call the winter holidays in the Southern Hemisphere?

  5. Actually, we have. In 1996, we took a trip to Antarctica over Christmas. On 25 December, we were on a ship along the Antarctic peninsula. Fabulous!

Does your family have a traditional time to exchange gifts?

What's your answer?
