Weekend Q&A

Questions Answered...This is the Weekend Q&A game and this is how you play:

The person before you has asked asked you a question. You’ll answer their question in the comments as well as ask the next person a question. The next person answers their question, and asks another, etc….. You are encouraged to participate often!

I’ll start:

Do you have a lunchbox, or do you brown bag it?

  1. Why? Where am I going?

I never had a real lunchbox; I not only used brown bags all through twelve years of school, I was expected to fold the bag to bring home and reuse. (My little sister, of course, had a lunch box.)

In business school we were taught to eat lunch out of school, out of the office, to go to a restaurant or cafeteria. (Carrying a lunch was not professional, as eating at one’s desk was not, and you did not assume that your employer would provide an eating space.)

Many years later, I would carry a small cooler, usually with a piece of lemon for my tea and some fruit. Neither time nor wherewithal to eat out was generally available. Y’know, ya go with the flow, whatever is appropriate to where you are. I would just as soon have lunch at home.

Question: In view of recent news, I am wondering, do you watch late-night television?

  2. I don’t watch the late-night shows. If I watch anything after the late news, it’ll probably be on MSNBC or Smithsonian or BookTV, etc.

Do you take a daily newspaper (the paper kind, delivered to your house)?

  3. I am the butt of my friends’ jokes regarding this because I LOVE the newspaper. I love walking to the paper box with my dog in the morning. I love cracking it open to go over the day-old news. And I love doing the puzzles after I read the comics.

It’s tax day. Were you a giver or receiver of funds?

  4. We went to a T-ball game at 8 a.m., so ate a kind of brunch back at the house at 11:30. Scrambled eggs and toast with pear jam.

What kind of socks do you wear (fuzzy ones, for me)

What's your answer?
