Weekend Q and A

152322541This is the Weekend Q&A game and this is how you play: The person before you has asked you a question. You’ll answer their question in the comments as well as ask the next person a question. The next person answers their question, and asks another, etc….. You are encouraged to participate often!

I’ll start:

What is your favorite book from childhood?

  1. One book from my childhood? I couldn’t choose just one book from each year. I was blessed to have an aunt who worked for Random House (publisher’s discount at all the New York houses).
Horton Hatches the Egg, Hans Brinker or the Silver Skates, Heidi, Little Women, Little Men, Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm… They were all before I was ten, and I read them over and over.

That’s not a good answer in the spirit of the game. Does anyone else want to take a crack at it?

  2. I remember reading the Nancy Drew and Bobbsey Twins books, also The 500 Hats of Bartholomew Cubbins..

Do you like going to the beach? Which one?

  3. I’m not really a beach person. I love looking at the ocean and smelling the sea but to sit on a beach…no.

Do you bring reusable bags when you go to the store or take paper or plastic store bags?

  4. A combination. We reuse plastic bags as garbage bags, dog poo bags, and for the food pantry packing, and reuse the paper bags as our recycle receptacles, so need them both on-hand. But we have loads of reusable bags we use for our regular grocery trips.

What’s a perfect summer dinner food lineup for you?

  5. A big mixed salad for me, but when the kids were small, a hot evening meant I would serve ice cream and fruit.

Do you follow the news as much as you did five years ago? One year ago?

    1. The only former love I have has NO electronic footprint and is VERY potective of privacy…but if there WAS a FB page, you betcha!

How do you feel about karaoke?

What's your answer?
