In the winter, we set our thermostat about 67, too. We don’t change it at night. I figure it’s a wash, since it takes more power/fuel to warm it back up in the morning than it would save overnight. We are here most of the day, so there’s no need to lower it during the day, either. When we leave for several days (or more), we do lower (or raise, depending on the season) the setting.

In winter, 68 when we are home and awake, 64 when we are away or sleeping.

we have that energy saving setting and I am constantly changing it from 62 (where my fingers freeze!) up to 70…but then after a while it goes back to 62 again

The Cheesebox has zoned heating; however, I now have all the thermostats set about the same. The gentleman doesn’t like heat and often sits in the unheated basement. No one closes the bathroom door, where I would be happy to keep it warmer — at least while someone is bathing.

I’m still having trouble getting people to close the *outside* doors tightly.

cool at night, like 62-64. A tad warmer during the day.
Usually the sun warms our apartment during the day.
