It is very hard to find a good, sturdy hat with lots of character that expresses the quirkiness of your personality.
During the summer, I tend to wear nondescript baseball caps a lot but only because both of my cars are convertibles.
But that being said, I recently pruchased a tan leather hat with a wide brim similar to one that one of my favorite off-beat non-mainstream authors wears all the time…(even though she lives in Flroida.) I like it a lot, it is unique and very individual. (Yeah, I know, I copied it from her…)
Warm winter hats are a whole other story. I particularly like the mad bomber hats but I look ridiculous in them. .-= sunny´s last blog ..Trying to out passive aggresive the Queen. =-.
I hate hats. For one thing my head is too big even for the “one size fits all” hats (Apparently Oprah has the same problem). And even if, miraculously, a hat fits, I look ridiculous. I can’t even wear baseball caps because at the largest setting they are too small. .-= Bev´s last blog ..Schuyler’s Monster =-.
I don’t mind them but I think they look silly on me. They mess up my hair so I only wear one when shoveling snow providing I don’t have to go anywhere after that. .-= Stephie´s last blog ..Sydney =-.
I love wearing knitted winter hats I create. The problem is taking them off my bushy, curly hair!
Hats are quite important.

I actually don’t mind hats, especially in the summer to keep the sun out of my eyes.
