I can’t believe we’ve lived in Tennessee for almost 50 years and have never been to Ruby Falls. Probably should sometime. We only went to Rock City last year for the first time. I don’t know that it’s a place that I really care about, though.

Somehow, I still don’t call this my hometown, though I’ve lived here more than half my life. But I do know that this area has a history, including a significant part in the Revolutionary War. YetI I’ve never visited the museum of daily living nor the museum that commemorates the years when this was the “classy” summer vacation area for the wealthy in New Haven.

Hometown as in where I grew up or where I live now?

Where I grew up – I’d like to see the Door Prairie barn up close and personal (it’s on private property).

Where we live now is a farming community into which Indianapolis has overflowed. There really isn’t anything noteworthy or scenic in the town. It’s strictly businesses, homes, and farms.

Where you grew up, or where you live now, doesn’t matter. :)

This is a small city (60,000 people). There is pretty much no place (other than maybe a new restaurant) where I have not been in the past 40 years.

The botanical gardens. I fundraised money for a bridge there once, but have never been inside.
