If it were a public street and he hasn’t broken any laws, I don’t think there is anything I COULD do about it.
But it sounds very suspicious so I might ask the cops to check it out at least once.
Serial killers have been known to drive vans. I’d be worried about that.
i’d give it two days, start asking the neighbors if it was theirs and then i’d be phoning the parking authority, who would tag it, leave it for a day, ticket it, give it a week and then tow it. we’ve had stolen cars dumped on our street before, we know the drill.
It wouldn’t last 2 days here. There is no parking permitted on our side of the street. The police would be here within a couple of hours.

I’d give it a coupleof days, then call the local police, who will track & contact the person using the license plate # and they will either move the vehicle or it will be towed.
I live on a main road so the state police would check on it before I had a chance to do anything about it.
However, if it was blocking my driveway or was in the way somehow, I would have it towed.
Call the police.

I would call my landlord.

This has happened. Mr. Police Officer visited it a few times and then it was towed.

I wouldn’t have to do anything about it. Come Monday mid-morning, if it was still there, the city would tow it away so they could sweep or plow… whichever the weather dictated.

because Colorado has possession based ownership laws, an abandoned vehicle can be claimed by anyone…especially if its on or near your property Depending on the condition of the vehicle, I’d prob file an ownership claim on it and then sell it.
I’ve done it once before.
