This week we found out my daughter has allergies: feathers, mites, tree pollen, and a few molds. I’ve spent the better part of the weekend cleaning her room top to bottom, getting rid of a lot of things, and I took the opportunity to rearrange. I also have allergies, but I had not looked at my allergy list in a four years, and oh my gosh, the list is a lot longer for me. I’ve only been focusing on the main food culprits, but I’m very allergic to grass. GRASS! And CATS! I loooooooooooooove my cats!
Anyhow, do you have an air purifier? Do you think it makes a difference?
I have had minor allergies all my life and cough all the time, but I suspect that an air purifier would give up and die in this house full of all this animal hair!

We used to use one in the living room and one in the bedroom, but haven’t for years.
We didn’t really notice a difference, but we didn’t have allergies.
I don’t have one but prob should as I’m allergic to cats, feathers, horses and tree pollen.

We have an Oreck Air Filter. When my husband came home with it I flipped out because of the price, but he wanted me to try it and said he would take it back if it didn’t work. When this happened I had been hurting all over for about two years and the doctors could not find a reason. To humor him I said fine, we would try it. The next morning when I woke up it was the first time in two years that i didn’t hurt. I was completely amazed. We kept the air filter and to this day I can tell when the filter needs to be cleaned because I start to hurt.
I know it sounds crazy, but it works for me.
