I would’ve liked to be with Lewis & Clark. I’d like to continue exploring the Rocky Mountains in the US and Canada.
Lewis and Clarke always come to mind first. But I don’t think that anyone imagined just how big the continent was. (I’ve met Europeans who still don’t get it.)
When you factor in the difficulties of traveling or crossing water, I suspect I would have passed up exploring.
would there be icky bugs and hills to climb? Maybe I’d pass up exploring in the era of The Explorers!
As for where I’d like to explore today, I’ve heard big luxury hotels have lots of nooks and crannies that it would be fun to investigate.
Marquette – It would have been nice to float down the Mississippi with no mountains to climb or winters to fight.
