Are your teeth straight?  Do you need braces or have you already had them?  Would you get braces as an adult?

  1. my teeth are fairly straight, i never had braces as a kid (too expensive, no dental plan, but should have had them). i don’t think i would bother getting them at this point but i do see lots of adults with braces on, which i think is great, used to be a thing only for kids.

I had braces, my teeth are still almost perfectly straight. I think it depends on the condition of my teeth as an adult if I would have braces now. There are so many “invisible” options, it’s not nearly the big deal it was when I was a kid and had them.

Yes, No, and No. I never had them. Thank God! And I only have a few minor details where one or two teeth are slightly out of line. I am so blessed. I don’t even have cavities. :) I know… don’t hate me. I was born this way ;)

They wanted to get me braces when I was younger, but I said no… almost ten years later, no biting problems. I hate fixing things that aren’t broken. I guess if I needed them as an adult, without any shadow of uncertainty… I’d let ‘em brace me.

  5. I had braces in high school. I wore my retainer until my dog ate it. I could probably use a bit of a straightening up now.

My Teeth are very straight, And I have not had to have braces. I was blessed to be born with a nice set of choppers

  7. Laquet says:

    I had braces when I was 14 / 15 / 16 and now I have straight teeth

  8. Bev says:

I have very straight teeth, so straight that when I started with a new dentist when I was 13, he took me to an orthodontist in the same building to show him that it was possible to have straight teeth without braces.

I’ve never had braces, but I’ve ALWAYS wanted them. My teeth are pretty straight, so I don’t know what my malfunction is that I’d want to go through all the pain of braces, but I’ve always wanted them. I’d get them as an adult, if my insurance covered it, of course! Why not fulfill a life long dream? ;-) LOL!

Indigo—-You are just like my sister! She would put a metal clasp bracelet in her mouth when I had my retainer in, so it looked like she too had a retainer! She too wanted the braces, but was born with a BEAUTIFUL mouth!

I had braces from age 13-15. I had a retainer that I wore for awhile. In fact the bottom one is still cemented in my mouth! BUT, when I was 22, I had to have my wisdom teeth pulled, and when I did, my teeth shifted!!!! ARGH! SO, I probably need to have some sort work done……but I HATED the whole process!

    yes, my teeth are straight.
    no, i dont need braces.
maybe i’ll approve of having braces on my teeth but my “chewers” & “grinders” are okay.
