Day-old pastry?
Sourdough, rye, bagels (guess that’s at the bagel store), cinnamon-raisin bread. I try to avoid bakeries.
The only thing I ever buy in a bakery is donuts…though I would LIKE to buy lots of pastries too!
I haven’t been in a bakery in many years, but my choices would be either cookies or cake donuts.
It depends on the bakery. I try to go with the specialty. If there isn’t one, then a fresh croissant.
Pecan danish.
