i have several. i have a lactic acid allergy (milk/dairy) but it’s not severe but i do my best to avoid it where possible, but if i drink a glass of milk, it will trigger an asmtha attack. i also have a citrus allergy and sometimes i crave clementines so i eat them but then my stomach burns for hours after and i get a rash on my face if i eat too many. i also have a peanut one, fortunately it’s not severe, i don’t need an epi-pen, but if i were to have a peanut butter sandwich with a glass of milk, i need to have my inhaler close by, because i’m going to need it before i’ve even finished the sandwich.
I am allergic to raspberries and shrimp. Now, before you all say ‘awwwwwwww’ let me say that I don’t like them anyways and would never eat them. I was having an allergic reaction to Aleve and I went for allergy testing, which is when I found out I was allergic to those two foods. I assume I’d break out in hives, and my lips would swell up. I carry Allegra and Benedryl with me where ever I go just in case there is any cross contamination at restaurants. I stay away from the japenese hibachi restaurants like the plague, there’s shrimp all over the place!
I get hives on the insides of my elbows and knees when I eat strawberries. My doctors say it’s nothing to worry about as long as they don’t last for more than fifteen minutes, which they don’t. I will never stop eating strawberries. Mmmmmmmmmmm!
I like to think of myself been alergic to some vegetables, only because I dislike the taste of them:P
But I don’t have any food alergies that I am aware of
the only thing i’m allergic to is onions and i just bad stomach aches if i eat them. i like them though so i keep eating them– i think i’ve built a bit of a tolerance cuz now i can eat them if they’re cooked REALLY well with no problems. its just the raw ones i have to be aware of
Shrimp/shell food allergy, developed at age 20. No I would not eat them. I get itchy and swell up.
Nope………thankfully! All of my allergies are seasonal or medicinal!
I have several “sensitivities” but I can’t pinpoint them…they’re in Mexican and Chinese foods. However, that doesn’t even slow me down…I can handle the runs for my favorite foods!!!
yes, im allergic to eggs & chicken but i can eat them in minimal amounts..
