Scrabble or Trivial Pursuit. There’s a story there:

We used to play Trivial Pursuit. Now, they’re not exactly board games, but we play Rumi-Kub or Mexican Train (with dominoes).
Not sure they’re considered a board game but always enjoyed playing bunco and dominoes.
my current favorite is qwirkle. I also like trivial pursuit, risk, and scrabble.
