We used to get them all. But now I’m down to Cooks Illustrated and Cooks Country. And yes, we make a lot out of them. I’ve tried recipes out of other things, but haven’t liked them as consistently.
I don’t subscribe, but if I see one, I definitely read it. And yes, I often try the recipes. My blog entry for tomorrow will deal with that particular topic, in fact. (Not the one listed below)

my wife looks for recipes, I just wing it. I never follow the recipe after the first attempt.
