September 28 — a weekend with my granddaughters and their parents. I always post about my visits to Massachusetts.
Not for about 4 years. I took the train to Santa Barbara when our first granddaughter was a baby, but not since. I do love riding the train.
We took Amtrak from Fullerton to San Diego when we were in CA in August. And we rode the park train in Upper Canada Village, Ontario, last week. I enjoy trains – wish there was more opportunity to ride them.
It was probably back in the early 1980s when hubby and I still lived in northwest Indiana. We had a yearly tradition of riding the South Shore train into Chicago for the day at Christmastime to view the window displays at Marshall Fields and to do some shopping.
Saturday. My son and I rode from Milwaukee to Chicago and back again.
About one month ago we went from Montreal to Rigaud. A short trip.
