That’s My Answer!

Tendrils asked…… Surprise! Has anyone ever thrown a surprise party for you? If so, what was it for? Were you surprised? On the flip side, have you ever thrown a surprise party for someone else? How did that go?

Excellent question, and I’m sad to say that I’ve never had a surprise party, nor have I ever thrown a surprise party for someone. I was responsible for escorting my best friend to her surprise baby shower once. I couldn’t come up with a good reason for us to be about 40 miles from where we were, so I took her shopping at the mall then blurted out “by the way your mom is having a surprise baby shower for you in about 30 minutes, I’m in charge of getting you there”. Pretty subtle, huh?

That’s my answer, what’s yours?

I’m in the process of visiting of your blogs (yes YOU!), as well as adding many of them to my Bloglines accounts. I’ve found that some blogs do not allow comments unless you have a Blogger profile. Since I have WordPress, my Blogger profile is blank and will not provide a link to my blog should you click on it. If this is the case, I’m leaving my links in the comments. (side question: is there a reason you only allow Blogger comments?)

Also, That’s My Answer! is not my only blog. This is my funnest blog by far! But I do have a personal blog that I’ve had for just as long, Thought Outside My Head. If you end up there, it’s me, Indigo! Be rest assured that you are not at some stranger’s blog. :-) I also write locally for www.menomoneefallsnow.com if you are in the Milwaukee area, it’s called I’m Just Saying (and *gasp* there’s my picture and name in the byline!).

KJones is a real life Indiana Jones, I think he even wears an old dusty hat and carries a whip. Jo is our European Tour Guide, because she’s been to Europe more times than I have and I say so. Let’s all imagine her with a deep and indecipherable accent. ;-)

I’m taking a small break. The comments and question participation haven’t been as active for the past few weeks, and it’s left me to feel overworked and under appreciated (welcome to the Pity Party). Is everyone except me on summer vacation?

For the first time in over two years, I’m taking a few days away from the computer to rejuvenate. (Yay me!)
