Along with the original founders’ intent – that government should not be run by the church. But this has never meant we go so far as, say France, and keep them on separate sides of the wall from one another. Faith has a place in discussions, just not ultimate decisions.

As for the separation of church and state, the lines have been blurred lately and that is a HUGE mistake. We are a country peopled by many religions, and no religions, and for people in power to impose their religious beliefs on the country is wrong. For religious to dictate the political beliefs of its followers (Catholic bishops refusing communion to people who voted for Obama, Mormons insisting their followers donate money to the campaign against gay marriage) and then get tax exempt status is so wrong…don’t even get me started!!!

Separation of church and state is a good thing and we need to go back to that as soon as possible.
I love the new look! At first I thought I was in the wrong place lol.
There should always be a separation of church and state and I think we need to get back to that.
