That’s a tough question. Prefer Brahms to Beethoven, love quirky Gottschalk, there’s a piece by Cesar Frank that gets me every time. Don’t like opera, particularly, but I love Tosca (Puccini vs. Verdi). In the semi-classical vein, however, it would have to be Gilbert & Sullivan.
