Crossing paths

When I was in high school I took a class on the weekends for about a year with a group of girls my age. There was a girl in my class who I knew but didn’t keep in contact with. Fast forward 15 years and it turns out that my parents and her parents are best friends. How ironic is that?

Have you ever had a relationship where you crossed paths more than once but and you never realized it until much later?

Not that I’m aware of. However, John and I met in college in Houston, and found out that we had lived two blocks apart in St. Louis, and had gone to the same elementary school with the same teacher one year apart. He’s a year older so we didn’t know each other, and our families had never met. Fate?

Not me personally. But a kid my daughter knew in junior high found her on FB about three years ago. Maybe he had a crush on her then?

At any rate, they’ve been going together for about three years. It looks permanent.

My sister-in-law and I used to compete against each other in gymnastics (different high schools but same conference), but didn’t realize it until after I was married.
