I was planning on having a bonfire but it has been raining all night so I guess that’s out…….

I prefer to do a house party or go out, but it’s not happening this year.
We are going to a Xmas show and going to rush home and see Dick Clark.

NYE is our anniversary – 8 years this year.
Every year we go out to dinner at a local Marriott spa/resort, have drinks, listen to a little live music and are snug as bugs in our own bed by 10:30. This year we’re mixing it up with a couples massage at 4:00.
We’re wild and crazy like that.

We go to the same party every year, a small group of theatre folks. It’s very low key. About 8-10 people, home made soup, home made bread, we play “the name game” and at midnight have a glass of champagne and we’re home in bed by 12:30.

We had planned on traveling to New Hampshire for a bonfire at my cousins, but snowy weather intervened and we spent the evening at home with good food and good tv.
I have always went out for New Years.
