I actually eat there irregularly, because I used to have “meetings” there with a friend. But I guess the last time was about 4 months ago,
The last time my son was in town long enough to stay for lunch… It was our eatery of choice for many, many years, starting when the U.D. was a teen whose job was a midnight shift. “If you can pick me up in the morning, I’ll buy you breakfast.”
Saturday breakfasts there were a tradition. We ate at Denny’s regularly after the house fire, as we were at a hotel across the street. It was my weekly chance to see my Middle Daughter after she got married.
I don’t go out to eat nearly as often, since two of my kids live out of town and the third lives with me. And when we do go out, it’s usually for dinner, somewhere exotic.
But generally, Denny’s had the best breakfasts, including (eventually) the senior menu.
It’s been years. I can’t even remember when. Not too many of them in our area.
It’s been so long I can’t even remember. I used to go at least once a year when visiting cousins in CT. but haven’t done it in awhile.
