I’m heading to Denver, Colorado for Thanksgiving. I’ve never been to Denver properly, unless you include the airport on a layover. Have you ever been to Denver? And what are your Thanksgiving plans (or end of November if you aren’t in the United States)?

I’ve been to Denver several times (the airport looks like a lactating possum, a group of women and I decided many years ago!). Nice town. Go find The Tattered Cover book store. One of the best book stores I’ve ever been in. You’ll love it.
As for our Thanksgiving plans, it appears that since two of our children live too far to come home, and the other one and his wife have made other plans (which I can’t complain about because they’ve been married 12 years and have spent every Thanksgiving with us) we are going out to a restaurant with my mother.

Thanks for the book store tip!
A few times. My husband is there now… Unfortunately there more than here these days.
Thanksgiving is in Coleman, WI at hubs’ grangma’s house. Dinner at 6 when the hunters come in from the woods.
I have no need to see Denver. It has snow. I have no need to see New Orleans, Dallas, Houston, St. Louis, Kansas City, Omaha, Salt Lake City, LA, Seattle, Nashville or Baltimore.
I would like to see Spencer, Iowa. I could go to the Spencer Library and see the Dewey Readmore Books Shrine. Go to the Fair in Spencer. If you go to the top of the tallest building on a clear day in Spencer You can see Sioux Falls. On a not so clear day……corn.

I’ve not been to Denver no. I’d like to, though. Hell I pretty much want to see all of the US so I’m sure I’ll get there at some stage!
As for Thanksgiving, well being in the UK I don’t celebrate. My plans for the end of November are driving down to London, meeting up with some friends and going to a couple of Jason Manns gigs.
CANNOT WAIT, it’s going to be awesome1
