I always speak my mind, and yes it gets me in trouble at times.

the older i get, the more i open up my mouth. i’ve taught my kids not to be doormats … nobody is allowed to step all over you.
i find that if i don’t answer back really nasty people, it bubbles inside of me and can ruin my day, while i go over it and over it [and what i wished i had said] in my head.
it’s so much better this way — being emptyheaded because i’ve cleared all the gunk out!

I’m a total pushover. Crappy meal? I eat it and say “fine” when they ask how it is. Poor service? I still tip 20%. Cut in front of me in line? No problem, I’ll just stew in silence. So if I’m speaking my mind or telling people about it, it means you’ve pushed me so far over the edge, it’s unconscionable. Have I mentioned how horrible American TV and Appliance is lately? :-)
