Does it matter what brand of batteries you purchase? Do you use rechargeables?

How often did I write about sending batteries to my geezerette friend Gloria? I buy Kirkland because they’re the best buy; she thought Duracells were better.
But then she counted the days before she had to change them and decided that Kirklands were better. I offered her rechargeables, but she was afraid they would raise her electric bill… All water under the bridge now.
I buy whichever comes in the largest package at Costco.
For AA’s, at least, that’s Kirkland
WalMart, Costco, whatever is cheapest and available.
Energizer or Duracell. I have some rechargeable and some non. My camera battery is a Nikon brand one, and that’s rechargeable. The iPad/iPod have its own rechargeable batteries.
