Jennifer asked …. Do you wear sunscreen regularly?
If I am going to be in the sun for more than a few minutes, yes. It’s the old conundrum: get plenty of vitamin D with these prescriptions, but avoid prolonged sunlight…
Isn’t that the truth?! And sunscreen inhibits absorption of vitamin D. =(
I don’t own sun screen.
Only when we’re at the beach, and I’m headed out to the water.
I have vitiligo (loss of pigment) so, yes, I tend to wear sunscreen although not regularly (with exception of my facial moisturizer and makeup). For the most part, I wear clothing that has been UPF rated. If I’m going hiking or even just working in the garden, I use sunscreen in addition to my UPF-rated clothes and hat.
I am hit or miss with it, but am trying to make more of an effort to wear it since my genetic testing claims I’m pre-disposed for melanoma.
I wear it anytime I’m going to be outside for an extended period of time and I’m also the one who reminds everyone else to put the sunblock on. I’m trying out face moisturizer that has 25 spf, so far I like it.
