If you could have any chef from The Food Network come and fix you dinner, who would you choose?

She is no longer with the food network, but I would have to choose Sara Moulton.
Her shows are still running.
She seems sweet. apporachable and genuine.
No glamour, no glitz
I would go to her house any day for a meal.
She is open to learning and her mentor was Julia Childs.
And she does COMFORT food. yummy.
(who would I NOT want? Rachael Ray…..)
I think the Barefoot Contessa. Another one who appears laid-back and easy to talk to. Also her life before becoming a chef was fascinating.
Hands down……Emeril
I would choose Nigella Lawson – she has made enjoying food and “curves in all the right places” fashionable in the UK again.
Giada Pamela De Laurentiis.
I would choose Mario. His dishes are exotic and usually complicated things that I would not attempt at home. He is so knowledgable. I would like to meet Rachael Ray, but I can cook most of what she cooks. I am thinking more of the “COOK FOR ME” side of the equation.
Definitely Giada, I miss Italy, sigh.
Not sure who is on the food network, we dont get it in the UK. I’m guessing Anthony Bourdain may be and so I’ll choose him. I have a love hate relationship with Mr Bourdain, in some shows he comes across as an ass, in others the opposite. Rather than coming over, I’d like him to take me on a foodie trip to Cambodia or Vietnam.
I guess I should answer my own question!
I would have both Rachael Ray and Robin Miller. Those are my 2 favorites on the Food Network.
I guess I would have to choose Paula Deen . Nothing better than good Southern comfort food!!!!
