Yes. I currently have black Doc Maarten slippers with yellow stitching. Living in the tropics it’s not uncommon to wear slippers in public (rubber slippers, flip flops, etc.). Not bedroom slippers though.

  2. Marcia says:

flip flops in public, hot pink furry slippers at home, bought matching slippers for daughter-in-law when she and son came to visit. . .(only ones comfortable in store)

  3. does wearing them in the car count, cuz i do that all of the time. they are red, with a cozy white fleece type lining and a glittery snowflake pattern on them. i feel like mrs. claus when i wear them:)

I have not worn my slippers in public, but today I brought them to work in case my feet got cold so I’m guessing that I wouldn’t be opposed to the idea …. they mostly look like gray felt clogs. Totally appropriate for public, I think they’d love the big pink flowers on the toes.

  5. Karen says:

I have a pair of bright pink Disney Crocs that I wear as house slippers. I’ve worn them in public, but only in Florida.

I have purple suede clogs with fur inside and yes I’ve worn them in public. In fact I’ve gone to work in PJs, dressing gown and slippers, carrying a teddy bear ~ for charity of course!

  7. monica says:

Yes, often. But they don’t really look slipperish, more cloggish imo.

  8. Sue says:

No, I’ve never worn my slippers in public. I have dark blue velour slippers.

  9. Bill says:

I wear them outside in the yard but not in public. They look like moccasins

  10. Allison says:

No, I don’t wear slippers. If my feet are cold, I wear woolly socks.

  11. Jennifer says:

I have a pair of Nick & Nora sock monkey slippers. I’ve worn them to my mother-in-law’s house, but out in public? I don’t think so…not yet, anyway :)
