LOL…yes, I am still recovering from a broken ankle that happened this summer.
I was helping my cousin unload a couple of her prize alpacas from her horse trailer and I slipped on the trailer ramp.

I broke my wrist roller-skating when I was a little girl. It was a set of those “key” skates. Haven’t been on a pair since.

Broke the two middle left hand bones when I was 10. A 13 year old corn-fed girl tagged me out with the ball at 2nd.

14 years ago I broke my leg right at my ankle where the fibula and tibia connect like a wishbone. They snapped apart when I was walking my dog in the middle of January to mail my grandpa’s birthday card and I slipped on my stupid neighbor’s icy sidewalk. I had to crawl home on my hands and knees, coming in and out of consciousness the whole time because the pain was so great. OMG I don’t wish that anyone. I can still hear the crack as it broke. *shudder*

Both big toes have been broken, although at different times.

I broke the left one when my horse slipped in the mud and fell on me and my foot was sort of mashed underneath him. I don’t know who felt worse on that one, the horse or me. He was pretty upset…

The right toe got it when I tripped off of a curb while leaving work one evening. It was a Friday night, and I didn’t think much of it other than that it hurt, so I went home, put some ice on it, and put it up. I spent the weekend at home, didn’t wear shoes, didn’t do much except hobble around the house. By Monday morning, I knew something wasn’t right because I couldn’t bend my foot enough to get shoes on. Went to the doctor for an x-ray, but had to WALK across the hospital and back (with the x-ray) for him to tell me it was broken–and to stay off of it for two weeks!
