If you had to could you do your own income taxes? And have them be correct?
Considering I have always done my own taxes and they are always correct…yes.
i’ve always done them, learned how to do them when i studied estate planning.
I always do my own taxes and so far they have always been correct.
Yes, I could… but I count other peoples beans all day. I let someone else do mine.
Yes, and I do them every year.
Not in a million years. My husband does ours. If he dies, I’ll be at a tax accountant’s office so quick it would make your head spin.
I could, but I’d probably miss a write-off or two… why give extra money to uncle Sam when I can give it to my accountant instead?
Oh glory no…I’ve no clue how to do them, all I know is I get the stubs from my employers, and the government, then I take them to the Handy Lady at the Tax place that I’ve been going to since I started filing them in Canada 5 years ago!
Except for a break of 13 years (we owned a complicated business during that time), I’ve been doing our family’s taxes for 35 years.
Knock on wood, they’ve been correct so far!
