Sorry for the absence, traveled from Milwaukee to Madison on Thursday night and then my team started running our Ragnar Relay to Chicago at 6am on Friday. I ran a total of 20.3 miles, my final leg brought my team across the Wisconsin-Illinois border. I finished that leg with a cartwheel at the exchange point.
What did everyone else do this weekend?
I had a great weekend. A woman from our Facebook “Photo a Day” group flew from Texas to California to meet four other members of the group. We toured Old Sacramento, took a dinner ride on a river train, and spent today taking photos at the university arboretum.
Oh, it was weekend? More than anything else, I read.
We took our second free fly fishing class through our local Orvis store on Saturday. We actually got to fish. (First class was learning how to cast and tie flies.) I caught 3 bluegill, hubby caught 7 or 8. All got tossed back in. We also ate at a new “burger joint” in town. Sunday, we went to the movies and saw “Dark Shadows.” Loved it!
A Lego store visit, a Marquette University store visit, 2 baseball games, frog catching at the pond, laundry, a water park visit, and cleaning the house.
