Today’s Photo A Day is what is in your bag.
Inside my bag are two checkbooks, wallet, glasses, earbuds, iPod Nano, pill box, lip balm, band-aids, dental floss, face powder, library card, hand lotion, hair bands, rewards dollars from Macy’s, Loft and Petco, and all-purpose towelettes.
What’s in your bag?

Very little nowadays. Usually house keys (can’t drive yet); wallet (haven’t carried a checkbook in ages); tissues; iPad if I’m going somewhere I’ll have to wait; maybe sunglasses. That’ll change when I’m able to drive and get some more independence. But even then, I’ve really pared down what I’m willing to carry around with me.
Wallet with my license and other necessary ID; a small amount of cash. My credit cards. A lip balm, a flashlight, hand sanitizer. Tissues! And my phone, for making calls.
My bag weighs >20 lbs! Off the top of my head there is a wallet (very heavy…I don’t now why, but it is), Kindle, cell phone, camera, iPod Touch, two 35mm film canisters filled with quarters for parking meters, hair brush, tissues, a coin purse because coins fall out of my wallet, plus the coins that get loose and are scattered around the bottom of the purse. And assorted other sundries. I keep thinking I”m going to pare down, but somehow I never do.
Wallet, lipstick, Chapstick, phone, and a holder for all the store-specific discount cards
Wallet, license, lipstick, mirror, comb, dental floss, emery board, keys, cell phone, rosary.
