Is it just me?

Is it just me, or is the blogosphere slow lately? I’ve noticed a decrease in traffic as well a a lot of bloggers are taking breaks from their own blogs too. Any thoughts?

I have noticed it. I don’t have a clue about it. Maybe spring fever.
Perhaps Rush Limbaugh told everyone to take a break.

Now that the health care plan has passed people don’t have to wear their dead mothers dentures and they are so happy they are going out and smiling instead of sitting in their homes in agony with ill fitting dentures.

It could be any of rhese reasons.

It’s not just you. Seems like a lot of people are burned out or just busy with their lives now that the weather’s nice again.

the problem can be traced back to the volanic ash from iceland …
    ha!

  4. I can tell you what it is for me. Just too many other things demanding my attention and not enough time for editing photos or blogging. I have tons of photos I want to put on my blogs, but it seems the more I learn/fiddle with Photoshop, the less I want to tackle it. Most of my photos straight out of the camera are awful and need cleaning up. It’s time consuming to edit them. Then, I’m second-guessing how the edit looks. Hubby has a different opinion to change my mind even more. Now we are on our working vacation, so even less time for being online. As well, I only have the notebook with me, so no Photoshop or any way to reduce my image size.

Yes, I’m easily overwhelmed. The easiest thing for me is to ignore the computer for a while.

As for others, I suppose it is the nice weather and the opportunity to be outside again.

I have noticed too. My Google Reader isn’t filling up as quickly as it used to. But I’m continuing to blog on anyway.

Honestly, I hadn’t noticed. Traffic is always pretty steady in the ALI (adoption, loss, and infertility) community.

People getting busy again or out enjoying the nice weather.
I try and keep to the post every 2-3 days rule I set myself and try and bring together a post over a few days in the evenings so it doesn’t get to overwhelming and I get time for some of that beautiful sunshine (whilst wearing a ridiculously high SPF of course).

  8. I think Twitter and Facebook is taking the place of many blog posts.

I used to publish some regular length posts and some very short posts. I still publish regular length posts but those short posts now more often end up on Twitter or as a Facebook status update.
