Not for Christmas. But my mother’s Yahrzeit falls today this year. I light a memorial candle.
Nothing special going on around here. We’ll visit a friend who is bedridden with a back injury.
Church services this evening since we’ll be on the road on Christmas day.
We’re here at my sister-in-law’s, with the other in-laws too (6 of us). We’ll have dinner here tonight while the grandkids and parents are with the other grandparents. We get Christmas night with the grandkids and I can’t wait!
We look for the pickle ornament, eat a nice dinner with the Advent wreath lit, decorate cookies for Santa, and watch A Christmas Story.
