If you could erect a lighthouse absolutely anywhere, where would it be? What would it guide people towards? Would you live in the lighthouse?

I think I’d put it in the middle of Washington DC, hopefully to guide those idiots to some courtesy, common sense, and cooperation. Everybody in the US should move in – just to keep our representatives honest and working for OUR benefit instead of their own status.
(Sorry, now I’ll get off my soapbox.)
Don’t apologize for the soapbox. Mine will be published as soon as I can get the more offensive language out of it.
It would have to be wherever my husband could enjoy it. He loves lighthouses. (When he was in the Air Corps, some sixty years ago, one of his jobs was to go into the top of lighthouses and replace the bulb — or whatever it was to maintain the light.)
I don’t think I’d live in it…although the solitude might be very compelling.
