A limerick is a poem with five lines.
Some write it while drunk on fine wine.
They rhyme and are witty
Are comical and a ditty
Please join us and write just one line.
I’ll begin with the first line, and each person can add one more line. To refresh your memory from your high school poetry course, lines 1, 2, and 5 all rhyme with each other, as do lines 3 and 4. Have some fun! Here’s the first line:
There once was a girl named Cinderella.

Who required a right royal fella
to help her of course…
to get up on her horse
But she fell and broke her patella.
