I always make lasagna, chili, split pea soup, and other soups from scratch. Dinner the last couple of nights have been from scratch.
I’m not the cook here, except for myself. The others don’t care for the kind of salad I like — something more than iceberg lettuce please. The Gentleman’s kid doesn’t like tomatoes or peppers or raw onion…
But I still make potato salad or, more often, pasta salad, which will be eaten if someone remembers that it’s there. (I’m swimming upstream.)
