I don’t know. My great grandmother was married at 15 and had 2 children by 18. My mother-in-law had 3 kids by 21. I didn’t even get married until 25. So while young girls wear more makeup and know more about sex and drugs than ever before, they’re also much more naive about the world. My intern doesn’t know what she wants to do with her life, so she’s going to move back home with her parents after graduation, something unthinkable in other generations. So I think it’s just different.
When stores sell make up kits for the grammar school set and high school kids think that oral sex is as casual as shaking hands, yes definitely girls (and boys!) are growing up too quickly.
Absolutely.

Yes, Most of them on the beach are 13 going on 24. It is crazy. So anxious to be adults. Their brains are still children, their bodies…not so much.
