I’ve read several of Anna Quindlen’s books, most of which are memoirs of a sort, and I love Jon Katz’ stories of his life with dogs. I’m also inspired by Michael J. Fox’s upbeat memories about his life, despite his Parkinsonism.
I can’t think of anybody’s memoir that I’m looking forward to reading, though I see that Carol Burnett has just come out with a book and that will probably be a fun read.
I tend to not read memoirs. I do enjoy a couple of bloggers who turn their lives into books. Laurie Notaro is my favorite of those.
