Each Sunday (okay, MOST) my husband makes a dinner menu for the coming week. This is what is on this week’s menu:
- Olive oil-poached halibut with brussel sprouts
- Potato-leek soup and grilled cheese sandwiches
- Lemon chicken with parmesan crostini
- Pork cutlets with maple, mustard and sage
- Chicken breasts povencal
What is on your menu for the week?

Since my husband is out of town for most of it, McDonalds, Subway, grilled cheese sandwiches, and some soup.
r the week?? Surely you jest. I usually decide what I’m going to cook when I walk out into the kitchen and see what I have in the fridge! (Though I have to admit your menu sounds pretty darn good!)

Quite honestly Bev, I like your method. He’s a bit of a foodie and this is what he does. As long as he’s cooking for me I don’t mind, but if I had my way I’d be happy with a plate of pasta every night. It’s done it like 10 minutes with minimal cleanup.
Cannibal stew every day.

I’m with your husband, this week we’re having (in no particular order) …
Pork fillet in a whole grain mustard and creme fraiche sauce with roast potatoes and spinach.
Linguine with clams and chilli.
Warm new potato and red onion salad with griddled tuna.
Chilli con carne with potato skins.
Yoghurt, lemon and cummin marinated chicken thighs with lemon herb couscous.
Oven baked risotto.
