My husband and daughter just returned from a road trip to Colorado. On the way back they stopped at Devils Tower, Mount Rushmore and Wall Drugs. Have you been to any of these places?

We’ve seen Devil’s Tower from a distance, stopped at Mount Rushmore, but missed Wall Drugs.
None — not even Wall Drugs. I’m beginning to think it’s never gonna happen.
We went to Mt. Rushmore when our oldest son (now 45) was 10. He broke his leg the day before and the dr. couldn’t set it because he said we had to wait till the swelling went down. Ned said he still wanted to see Mt. Rushmore, so we went and got a wheelchair, but it had no footrest, so nowhere to put his broken leg. Walt took our tent poles and made a seat so that Ned could sit on the poles with his leg extended. It was not the ideal viewing situation!!! I’d like to go back again. I’m sure Cary Grant is skulking around there somewhere.
I have never taken that trip. And since it requires a 10 hour car ride, I doubt I will be taking it.
